| Spring is coming earlier in Concord, Massachusetts. “Early Spring: Henry Thoreau and Climate Change,” a ground-breaking exhibition at the Concord Museum, explores three centuries of careful observation of seasonal natural phenomena in Concord, which has made it one of the best places in the world to study climate change. The exhibition also provides an extraordinary opportunity to examine the Concord Museum’s renowned Thoreau collection including the desk on which Thoreau wrote Walden, together with examples of his original field notes, journal recordings, and botanical specimens. |

| Concord's Town Governance Study Committee has scheduled two public forums to provide the public an opportunity to comment on the Town Charter of Concord, our form of government and any governance changes beneficial to the town. The forums will be held on Thursday, June 13 at 7:00 pm at the Concord Town House, 22 Monument Square and on Wednesday, June 19 at 7:00 pm at the Harvey Wheeler Community Center, 1276 Main Street. Free Concert with Tom Chapin and his Band |
| Penacook Village Association is bringing a free concert to Penacook on June 21 at 7:00 pm at the MVHS auditorium. Multi-talented singer-songwriter Tom Chapin and band will perform “Give Peas a Chance to Prosper in Penacook,” a family-friendly performance. Doors open from 6:30 to 6:50 pm for ticket holders. Those without tickets will be admitted between 6:50 and 7:00 if seats are still available.
