As a member of CCTV you are eligible to participate in our trainiing classes and workshops throughout the year. We offer training in all aspects of local cable television production.
Our classes are offered on an on-going basis and we can set up special class sessions for organizations or groups that have a specific project they would like to work on.
Class Descriptions:
Robotic Camera Operation at Town House:
This single session class provides hands-on training in the operation of the robotic camera equipment at the Concord Town House and the Carlisle Town Hall. Once certified members can sign up to cover meetings that take place in those rooms.
Field Production:
This course is designed to teach you how to take an idea from scripting through shooting using mini-DV cameras. Topics covered include: scripting, storyboarding, shot composure, field lighting, and field audio.
Studio Production:
This course is designed to teach you how to set up a multi-camera studio shoot. Topics covered include: crew requirements, studio camera and lighting technique, technical and audio directing technique, and basic directing technique
Final Cut Pro or Final Cut Express:
This course will teach you the basics of digital video editing using Final Cut Pro. Topics covered include: Setting up and organizing your project files, capturing digital video, basic editing techniques, and mastering your program out for playback

Field Production: Capturing the Sights and Sounds of Autumn - Sept. 13, 20 , 27, Oct. 4 from 2 - 4 pm

Studio Seminar: Being on Camera - October 2 from 7 - 9 pm
Studio seminar: Sound for Video - October 9 from 7 - 8:30 pm
